Co-ownership: what changes with the December 2025 decree

The decree of 22 December 2025 modernises the management of co-owned buildings: collective borrowing is made easier, procedures are now carried out online and the role of the managing agent (syndic) is more clearly defined.

It also encourages energy renovation by allowing, subject to conditions, certain insulation works on the common parts.

The aim: co-owned buildings that are simpler to manage, and buildings renovated more quickly.
