Wetlands: knowing them better to manage them better

Wetlands are areas of land that are temporarily or permanently flooded or waterlogged, as defined by Article L.211-1 of the French Environmental Code (Code de l'environnement). Managing them is complex, because many protection schemes have been added over time (zoning, permits, specific tax rules), which affects landowners in particular.

Knowing them better makes it possible to protect and manage them better, with the support of VLT Notaires.
